What we collect

When you use JobReady we collect:

• Email address — to deliver your package and, if you opt in, send job alerts.
• Resume text — pasted by you, used only to generate your documents.
• Job description — pasted or fetched from a URL you provide, used only to tailor your package.
• Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

We do not collect browsing history, track you across the web, or require an account to use the service.

How we use it

• To generate your tailored resume, cover letter, and interview prep guide.
• To email you your completed package via Resend.
• To send daily job alert digests if you enrolled — only for as long as your subscription is active (max 30 days).

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-party services

• Anthropic — your resume and job description are sent to Anthropic's API to generate documents. Anthropic does not use API inputs to train their models.
• Resend — used to deliver email. Your address is shared with Resend for the purpose of sending your package and alerts.
• Stripe — payment processing. We receive a payment confirmation but no card data.
• JobData API — used to fetch public job listings for alert matching. No personal data is shared.

Data retention

• Package content (resume, cover letter, interview prep) is stored for 30 days, then permanently deleted from our database.
• Job alert subscriptions expire automatically after 30 days and are deactivated.
• Your email address may remain in our system to prevent duplicate free packages per the one-per-address policy.

Your rights

You can unsubscribe from job alerts at any time using the link at the bottom of any digest email. To request deletion of your data, email us at privacy@jobready.com.
